What did you get for christmas?

I got a nerf gun, 1100 kapla's, a snowscooter, 1000NOK from my grandmother, some kind of traditional german treebear (also from my grandmother), a book, a title as lord (so if i was british i could write lord before my name in my passport) and a cool tetris "epic fail" cup.

I'm curious!

It's still Christmas Eve here in Western Hemisphere. But i already got my gift, lots of money from my parents and distant relatives.

The adult in me says to spend it on Beer and Electronics. The child in me says to spend it on Beer, electronics, nerf guns and candy.

So far it's just my sometimes poor impulse control meeting the steam sale (Tomb Raider, Solar 2, TES Oblivion, Viscera: Santas Rampage, and Arma 3). The actual gifts wait until Christmas Day (which is a few hours off yet).

The best things i got this year was a 64 GB SD card that fits all the way into my Macbook, a nice Scarf and a great book about modern Aircraft.

some kind of traditional german treebear
May i ask what that is? The only thing i found on the web is "Racoon" but i highly doubt thats what you got from your grandmother.

I got money, which I used to order 3 Nanoblock sets, 300 ft of paracord, and 2 books. In the way of Nanoblock sets, I ordered the Space Shuttle, the Empire State Building, and the White house, and have so far built the Shuttle. It looks fantastic but was a terrible pain to assemble because of the small blocks. I got these two books:

First one is an accompanying book for a US Naval education course (But it's absolutely wonderful for separate reading and study), and the other one is a book about the history of the early oil days when the world's oil came from the hills of Western Pennsylvania. I'm a history buff and the early-to-mid oil industry, the USSR, and Colonial America are what interest me the most in the topic. Outside of that, I'm a big nonfiction fan, real stories and information draw me in and captivate me whereas I have to force myself to read fiction, and the stories are never as satisfying as NF reading.

P.S., It isn't X-mas where I live yet, but I wanted to get my things before X-mas because as far as I know UPS doesn't deliver on the 25th.

Well, my mom gave me an early present of an Xbox One, and my neighbors gave me peppermint pie, a $20.00 gift card for GameStop, a green stuffed dog, and a little bag of candy, and my step mom & dad gave me a PS+ subscription for Xmas Eve. I'm currently awaiting my step mom & dad to wake up for the unwrapping of our Xmas presents.
