A Mini Spawn engine for misisons, when devs have time to do missions.

My idea is to have a code built into the future mission system, that spawns crafts, or kerbals in different situations.

For example. Mission 1, Save jebidah from Minmus orbit. If you accept the mission, the engine would spawn jedibidah in orbit. Then if u go get him in a craft you build, and recover him, you receive a reward, say credits or money or a little science. Let devs decide.

The little engine, could spawn things like a space station in Mun orbit that requires repairs. This lets people who want more EVA's, build there craft, then fly over to this spawned station, then do EVA repairs and such.

Could also spawn a return rocket on a decaying orbit whos aprachutes have failed. You must fly up and eva, repair the shoots before it crashes and destroys valuable science data.

Spawn a SAT that needs to be recovered by docking with it and bringing it home.

I feel the inclusion, much later on when devs have time and get around to this as I know they have other things they are planning on doing. The potential of using a small spawn engine I think would make missions very flexible and interesting with variety.

That's my proposal a mini spawn engine to use with missions in the future. Could also spawn crashed rockets on planets and do rescue missions :).

Maybe that should have been the plot for the film Gravity cos that would have been so interesting to make as a film :). Come on, this is a game, let it be fun and exciting. Were kerbals, lets go into space and mess about.

Wheres that kerbal spirit when you need it. :) Lets see what's say. You could have missions for people like you too. We could spawn a ermm object that you can observe for 30 minutes :) the engine works.

My idea is the spawn engine method of implementing the missions. Please don't misunderstand this as a mission suggestion thread, I did not intend it to be that.

What you're referring to as a "mini spawn engine" basically sounds like a specific implementation of the HyperEdit mod, with the addition of code to generate the mission-specific craft (EVA'd kerbals being included as a "craft"). Is that about right?
