I made a Mun orbiting station at only 12000m, passing right over my ground base. It would be awesome to see it fly over as a point of light. Even more awesome if it only shined when it would be hit by the sun. Also it would mean that ground bases/vehicles glint in the sunlight, making landing at them easier and cooler.
