Plane Refueling Pad

Recommended Posts

With a few structure panels, jet fuel canisters, and a LOT of super glue, Bill and the engineers finally found a way to refuel Jeb's flying machines.

Decided to try and get a working refueling pad for a new base and this was the result, also getting the pad to the second landing strip was NOT an easy task though.

Note: having the panels sink under the surface wasn't intentional, but made it look that much cooler.

That is an elegant solution to the problem of how to refuel different aircrafts! I gave up and started using KAS, but I might reconsider... steel plates and fuel pipes, I presume?

And to think that I was using a down-facing docking port for base construction and hadn't come up with this...

Rune. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most difficult to see.

hmmm. looks ingenious. Certainly far simpler than this monstrosity:

Oh that's an Arrinera by Mareczex333 on the left. Inigma finally sold enough shuttlecraft to be able to justify buying one for the company. The refueler is an SSI GR-2M. Great interior though:
