Did you end up using a Parallax Propeller in your project? If so how did you communicate with the game?

I'm currently looking at using KSPIO with the Prop but I'm having a bit of difficulty with the handshake.

[FONT=microsoft sans serif]I'm in the design phase of a "Mission Simulator", for use with KSP and other Space Flight games. It will add two player elements VIA a Mission Control Console separate from the Vehicle Capsule. Simplified explanation, it's going to use a lot of buttons, switches, lights, analog and digital gauges and counters, controlled by a combination of circuit logic and micro-controller programming to take the inputs, calculate the data, update the outputs and interface with games software with HID emulation and Mod software. [FONT=microsoft sans serif]Anyway, I'm looking to tick off future challenges in the project, and was wondering if anyone knows of, or is interested in writing a KSP mod that takes flight data, scales and converts the data to NMEA0183 and/or CAN bus data to interface external hardware? Players could hook up some pretty cool gear... flight hardware, HUDs and more! One of the devices I'm using can display neat things like wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, water temperature in addition to all the GPS data... speed, location, altitude and all that important jazz, the Furuno RD-33. I also have some extra RD-30 units I could give to people who help with the project, as they will need something to test the software with.[/FONT]
