In reality, my SABREtooth lifter, back in .21, I made it with B9 sabres(9 SABRE Ms and 4 SABRE Ss.), it actually ran nicely and efficiently, fast too.

Forgot to mention that I named that ship the 'What the HELL?' It was followed by the WTH 2, which became a very useful heavy lifter.

It's basically a rocket where the engines are mounted at the top and most of the fuel at the bottom. It's more-a-less asparagus staged. The empty tanks simply drop off the bottom instead of the sides.

It was stable enough to get those probes to Laythe :/

The BOX superlifter. Partcount 638 and Zero struts!. Achieved orbit without exploding.

Old "Every part available used once challenge". Got this one into orbit too somehow.

Smallest SSTO without clipping the engines, and its predecesor two stage booster.

Wonky flier. It's controls were flipping at some speed due to mismatch between pod reaction wheels and aerodynamic controls. Flight characteristic was all over the place but it completed it's mission.

Is there still the annoying bug where gimballing engines placed above the CoM gimbal the wrong way and make the rocket pretty hard top control? I remember building a similar rocket that was struck down because of this bug until I disabled the thrust vectoring on every rocket.

Probably either my Front-Engine Jet or my Ant Engine Escape Glider. One flies so well I could (though hadn't for the screenshots) fly it without SAS. The other makes a very powerful high-speed glider that I had no idea was an infiniglider in disguise.
