Fuel to Part Ratio.

Since the number of parts in the end dictates the total size of anything you can build I decided to try a new type of mission.

ULTRA LOW PART COUNT PROJECT

My first target is a fuel station in LKO of 80km. It will serve as a basis from which I will launch my missions to other planets. Here comes the geeky parts and the question I am asking you:

How low a ratio of [fuel : parts] is it possible to build in KSP? Remember, it has to look at least somewhat presentable.

I only use Rockomax 64 Jumbo tanks in this experiment.

1st attempt:

Stats:

23040 Liq

28170 Oxy

51 Pts

8 Ports

288 tF:51Pts

5.6tF:1Pts

Note: The math does not add up because the next 8 docking ports excludes probe core and the two power sources.

2nd Attempt

34560 liq

42240 oxy

35 parts+36=71Pt

12 ports

432 tons.

432tF:71Pts

6tF:1Pts

Additional notes:

In light of my research I thought I could just stack up 6 orange fuel tanks on 1 port to increase the amount of fuel pr port but that also raises the number of parts pr port to 9 assume the tanks themselves need a docking port on the back as well. This is a very messy idea I know but work with me.
