The Stock Repository

Thank you for adding my Munshot 3 - but please note it is quite capable of getting you back from the Mun, not just a one-way trip. (Absent the SRBs it can still make the round trip but it\'s a lot tighter....)

Ah sorry for the mistake. The way your post was written made me mistake it for a one way craft.

Thanks for adding my 16 tanker Darkshadow, are you interested in adding my newest Munar craft? It will do the trip on 15 tanks even more efficiently than the Stocket and is also a fully stock ship.

Name: The Fifteen To One

Class: Micro Munar Craft

Link: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7210.0

I am also working on a 14 tank stock Munar craft, and already have a 7 tank light orbiter, I\'m just deciding what to call it.

Edit:

Forget my 14 tank idea, this is better.

Name: The Little Sipper

Class: Micro Munar craft

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7225.0

An all-stock 9 tank Munar lander and return vehicle.

Edit2:

Thanks Darkshadow :)

Also here\'s my submission for the heavy lifter category, called the K-F-F Small Fuel Carrier.

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7262.0

Also just one more thing, the Little Sipper was inspired by Gruntzilla\'s 10 tank Munar craft which he showed me here:

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7210.msg101861#msg101861

I think he deserves to have his ship in the Micro Munar category as well.

Thanks for putting the \'This Way Up\' in!

As you can probably tell, I enjoy making somewhat more bizarre craft; the weirder the better.

A Mun-capable \'This Way Up\' has so far been ellusive, but work continues.

I have also heard a nasty rumour that Jeb was seen around the Kerbal Space Program Manufacturing Facility unescorted by the usual Occupational Health, Safety, Security, Sanity, Structural Health & Integrity Team (OHSSSSHiT) and is allegedly working on something he described in a k-mail as \'ah sekrit pojekt whitch wull relvovvl rvelove relove revolutable mak betta teh KSP lornch faclititietiies\'

Stay tuned.

Beautiful. Being able to look at so many different rocket designs has definitely given me ideas about my own design. Especially with implementing things like a single stack of fuel tri-coupled to 3 boosters. I had no idea that could be done until now.

Thanks!

No worries, good to see some interesting and unusual designs

Thank you, that\'s the exact idea of the repository.

Hi Darkshadow

Could you please add this ship to the repo.

Name: Shamrock

Type: Light orbiter

Page: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7514.0

Added, nice little design you\'ve got there.

My next two unusual designs are complete; look in the main forum for the Jeb\'s Idea 1 & 2 - a reliable launch tower lift :o and a very asymmetric orbital craft based on the same rather dangerously unstable design ;P

Challenging to fly, a real test of manual piloting skills and fuel management -including changing balance while fuel depletes having a huge effect on the craft\'s handling, inadequate parachute for landing requires skillful RCS use and unique use of components in odd and possibly insane ways.

Both craft feature full backstory and pictorial user guides that are quite fun to write!

Thanks for adding the Hopper Darkshadow, I didn\'t notice till just now :)

I have another light orbiter for you with the Pepperpot, she\'s a pocket sized high performance ship.

Name: Pepperpot

Class: Light orbiter

Page: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7764.0

I see the heavy lifter category is still looking a bit thin, I made the K-F-F Small Fuel Carrier a while back, think it\'ll fit?

Name: K-F-F Small Fuel Carrier

Class: Heavy Lifter

Page: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7262.0

I\'m working on a range of direct ascent Skif\'s for the Munar craft category as well, they don\'t need to orbit Kerbin before making the Munshot, I just need to sort out names and do the screenshots.

Both of these are 0.13.2 craft.

Edit: Thanks :)

Added, also renamed the creator to include the KFF followed by your profile name in brackets for your designs.

Thanks a lot for adding my craft, it was a complete surprise, but it\'s great to see it on the repository!

Just have to say, I used your links for Mun lander designs to help gain inspiration when designing my shuttle, so I owe a great deal of thanks to you and everyone else who plays the game!

Um, I just flew the Tiny 1, its nicely balanced but I couldn\'t get to orbit :(

The Little Sipper worked because I tried very hard to keep the weight down, those new landing legs, while nice are just far too heavy to retrofit to it, and to be honest I had no idea it\'d make it at all, that flight I pictured was its first one, I was wondering the whole way when I\'d run out of fuel.

It takes a lot of work to make such a small Munar craft, its not enough to change an existing one as it really needs to be tested.

There\'s some things you can change to make the Tiny 1 better though, your pipes need turning around for a start :) that\'ll give you a lot more performance.

And be careful with those landing legs, they may not reach the ground.

Thanks for the rocket though, its nice you are trying, you\'ll get there mate :)

I got Tiny 1 into an orbit and immediately expanded it to the mun I landed with extreme luck and thought i didn\'t have enough to get back so i just thrusted up. It may have been pure luck or a glitch but i got back into orbit with kerbin with just enough fuel to de orbit. Though you are right I have not been able to do it since. Therefore, probably not lunar probably just a small orbiter

Hi Darkshadow.

Here is another rocket for the Micro category, it\'s not the smallest but it\'s easy to fly.

Name: Munbeam 450N

Type: Minro Munar lander

Page: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=8298.0

Also you might want to ask Kosmo-not but I think his Bare Minimum is a light orbiter rather than a Munar craft.

Thanks for adding my ships :)

I wouldn\'t even call Bare Minimum an orbiter. It\'s more of a one-way trip.

I would instead add Koalemos II to the stock repository. It\'s a real challenge to complete its mission, due to the tight fuel budget.

Just put up the heavy-lift variant of the Faraway-1 here.

Cheers!

Edit: Just saw the note about marking .14 ships. The Munpod is .14 only (it uses the lander legs), the Faraway should be OK from .13 on (fuel lines).
