RemoteTech 2 active only on certain save games

I love playing with RT2 on my sandbox game, I have over 16 satellites in orbit in the Kerbal system, but I want to play a career game without RT2 (mainly for unmanned science retrieval from places like Duna and Eve, not having to deal with the time delay).

I know that I can have multiple installs of KSP (which I currently use), but I was wondering if there was a way to disable RT2 for a specific save game. I have seen other threads regarding temporarily disabling RT2 in a single save, but nothing in regards to having multiple games, some with RT2 and some without.

TAC Life support has this feature, so I know its possible.

So does Mission Controller. Kind of. You can disable the plugin at any point in the game.

I think you can do it in the save file for that save. The persistant save file my have a setting to set RT2 signal delay to true or false. And I think you maybe able to disable it all together from there, but never tried.
