Shaun
Hmm. Looks like I can see fuel lines from inside the craft.. Not the one near the leading edge of the wing but further back.Yes there is one fuel line that appears to be inside a fuselage, because it's connecting the fuselages above and below. Shaun
Just to clarify, I can't super-cruise at sea level... I thought the speed of sound was 240.3m/s and not 340.3m/s... my bad... but it can super-cruise at 3,500M however Here's a couple more pics in flight. RocketPilot573
I stuck some tiny rovers in the cargo bay. The ship is meant for flying around Kerbin to explore some of the more interesting terrain. There should be enough fuel to circumnavigate Kerbin. Twice. Cranium
Been working on a few designs, if FAR would cooperate with me. Still having that overcompensation issue. I might have to try lessening the control authority. The XT-1 is designed to bring four kerbals to a LKO space station. I can definitely get it to orbit, but it's finicky. Gotta tweak it a lot to get it flying straight. My Sword of Light is outright failing. Probably because I need more wing surface.I'm ending up making boring little conventional craft for now. Guest
Thanks here's the craft if anyone wants to give it a shot;https://www./?59ebq89447g1hjtAt 100% throttle the VTOL engines aren't exactly efficient (0.35lf/0.43o per sec), so with 2 oscarB tanks it is around 1min of "VTOL flight" that's if you're lucky ^^, but you just need them to take off and land.Once in the air, you don't need much power, with the rockomax 48-7s capped at 14% it still managed to fly around at 60-70m/s (1,2 for toggling engines)Just added a launch pad with docking port for the lolz and on the fly refueling!; Edited November 3, 2014 by RevanCorana

Redshift OTF
I'm still working on my space van but until it is fully tweaked I thought I would use it to launch the first Kerbal Airborne Division.Javascript is disabled. View full albumIt's about 900 parts including the Kerbal loader, (which you can see in the first picture detaches), carries 36 Kerbal Parachutists, (plus 2 pilots), has working doors and it can deliver an Airborne division to anywhere on Kerbin. The Kerbals are ejected by seperatrons and keep their grouping quite well. Parachutes have the closest settings I can get for a HALO jump. Semi-deploy at 3500m at fully deploy at 50m.Let me know if you are interested and I will finish it up and post it on the exchange.
Kamuchi
@Redshift that looks pretty awsome! just abit high on the part count when used with bases and other ships Started banging my head against the wall for a new RetroFuture low grav heavy lifter...Must be vtol, carry 2.5m parts but with a clearing of 3.75m it should be able to haul a tank and while thinking about it, it must be detachable in 2 parts so that the payload can simply be driven into position by a loader. The 2 parts either with wheels, boring, or extendable with using IR to raise/lower over the payload.Ignore the dV as I use Goodwing pumps instead of cluttering fuel lines every where for extra lag & headaches Either 4 or 8 vtol engines in shifted positions, need to get the general shape/size of the ship and have an idea what the payload max weight should be while able to do orbital trips.Javascript is disabled. GusTurbo
Somewhat of a cargobay, it can fit 3.75 meter parts.http://i.imgur.com/xHexNd6.jpgThis is a clever idea with some potentially useful applications. For example, I think you could build a large cargo SSTO with it. You should add it to the OSCTCA thread!

I should post something, that's what I should do.I was on approach to the overshoot runway (because, I, er, overshot) and thought I'd zoom in to have a look how inside the craft was doing and it just disintegrated. The whole slidey out rack thing worked a charm. Mostly. But it did work . The whole thing docks into place at either end of it's travel. There's some messing with landing gear required.I aim to post the craft file once it all works properly.
