VAB problem

Recommended Posts

the parts wont attach because there is no attachment node there, if you are using a subassembly ( as i suspect you are) you need to build it such that the root part of the subassembly has an attachment node in the proper location.

Do you mean the root part of my subassembly should be a clamp-o-tron?

Exactly. Build your subassembly separate from the rest of your rocket. I use a modular girder segment as my root ship part, then build the subassembly from there with the proper orientation (Starting with the part I want to attach) then just pull off the part to attach and drop it in the subassembly tab. Voila! a perfectly formatted subassembly.

I understand what you mean. However, i've never been able to attatch the side of a fuel tank to a clamp-o-tron...

Roxette, I was able to make it work with this mod. I'll still try without any mod to see if it is possible.

Thank you all :)
