Where is the date?

I can see the current date in the space center, but if I want to warp forward, say in map view, is there any way to see the date or do I need to load Kerbal Alarm Clock?

Really the date should be shown in a few places?

[EDIT: Looks like you can't in current version (0.23) , Kerbal Alarm Clock it is!]

I agree we should be able to see the date from map view, especially when we're timewarping toward a transfer window.
