Animation to load to the launchpad

Im thinking about when you load you just get a black screen thats boring but I want like sorta like a animation that the door Opens Up and theres rollers that pull it Out to the LaunchPad this will be a AWESOME idea! so you can skip the animation if you wish or just watch it. Because the Little rails leading to the launchpad just stand there whats the Point? and Maybe if any vehicles are in the way near the rails they will be crushed...

The video of a stantard rocket being carried would look neat too.

Then the loading could extend to the point physics is enabled.

The problem with loading the rocket you built is.. well, it'd have to load the rocket you built into that scene. And that's what a lot of the loading screen is for.

On the other hand, ANYTHING is better than plain black screen in my opinion.

It's loaded in some way when building, so maybe take a simplifid version of that and show it rolling out. maybe from a distance and perspective parallel to the ground- silhouette even?

To be honest, that IS what the loading is about!

I agree, but the general consensus is that the loading screen loads the craft in the first place, so you would have to have a placeholder while the craft loads, like an image, or the VAB opening, but this would just make loading times longer, which would not be good. But a good idea that could be expanded upon.

How about a shot of a crawler rolling out of the VAB, cut off so that you can't see what's on top of it? Kerbals can stand around, watching in awe/shock/fear/laughter as it starts rolling out the door.

That would be nice, but I think it would be best if it was a still image. Depending on your machine, the load time from the VAB to the launchpad can be only a few seconds, so a whole animation, even if were just a pre-rendered video, would be wasteful.
