Nerf the small gear bay.

Currently, the small gear bay is one of the most overpowered pieces of hardware out there.

It's light is the strongest in the game, and does not require electricity to run.

It's wheels are the strongest in the game, and never break due to excessive speed.

It's shocks can handle massive vertical touchdown speeds.

I suggest that it gets balanced, with a max speed of about 160~200m/s, a vertical collision shock break of max 15m/s and it's lights to be nerfed in strenght and require electricity to run.

Also, I suggest that a "normal-sized" gear bay gets added, for bigger spacecraft (since that one is called small).

It's shocks would hold more weight, for bigger crafts.

But that will only be needed if the current one gets nerfed.

And also the breaks! The breaks are WAYYYY up there. So much so, that You get a 20t machine that stops under 200m from nearly 80 m/s at touchdown.

well... it's the only one out there that allow orizontal landing... give squad time, nerfs and alternative will show up for sure...

I agree with this. Any load-bearing SSTOs, dropships, tankers, ferries (that is, all the kinds of spaceplane except skimming tourism planes) would use much heavier landing gear than you see on your average Cessna.
