Anybody else had this happen?

Well that looks spectacular, entertaining, and infuriating...

I had an instance of that once, but it was my fault. I had modified the wrong .cfg on a part I was working on and ended up shrinking the size of an adapter by a factor of ten. I had that adapter on the central hub of my Mun base. Loaded in, and the thing started to vibrate violently and exploded into a shower of parts. It was pretty fun to watch.

I had this happen as well while I had Kerbal Joint Reinforcement installed, always on scene load. It was less impressive than yours, though. Every single part would just fly off in a random direction at thousands of meters per second. I recently removed KJR and it hasn't happened since...

Idoes anyone know why remotetech does that?

Because you have been a bad Kerbal! :P

No, there is actually a temporary fix (a new .dll to be swapped for the faulty one) until Cilph gets around to finish the new update.

Check the forum thread, it usually gets reposted every odd page.
