Could Kerbin be a moon of jool and not suffer a collision?

BTW Mun and Minmus are in the outskirts of the joolian system. Minmus orbits the Mun.

I don't think Minmus could orbit the Mun. That would be like a binary moon system, which would eventually:

1) Crash both moons into Jool.

2) Fling them out of the Jool system.

I'm no physicist, but the Jool system looks like it would be very fragile IRL.

In-game, you could make Jool orbit Gilly, so I don't see any problems with that.
