Illuminator Mk1 (Lights) shining predominantly backwards

Hello KSP'ers

I've noticed something a little strange today. I've installed some landing lights on my space plane however, after flying around KSC with the lights turned on I noticed they are shining predominantly backwards, with only a small portion of the light shining forwards.

Here are two images illustrating the installation of the lights. (I've also tried deleting them in the SPH and repositioning them to a different location without any improvement)

Mostly behind the vehicle as you can see. There is a little bit that shines forward but it's mostly going backwards.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I was going to post in the support forum but most likely it's just me being a noob so I thought it best to post here instead

Those look like the lights from your landing gear.

Those are the lights from your landing gear, which I notice you have on backwards!

Hehe, your landing gear is on backwards, they have lights that are pretty powerful and angled downwards, that's why they are bright against the ground.

In the 3rd pic you can see the headlights lighting the ground in front of the craft

It's definitely from your landing gear. The MK1 Lights are pointed too high to hit the ground. Also, please use BB code for images:
