[0.90] Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System v4.13

Because of this issue, I'm including a docking port in the upcoming satellite and space station kit. I too am fed up with docking ports giving issues like this.

It's really a non-issue if you use Editor Extensions. Toggling between enabling/disabling radial attachment for a docking port you want to place with Alt-R means there is zero fiddling when you're wanting to hook them onto attachment nodes.

Hello to all. Has anyone created the .cfg files needed to make this mod compatible with realfuels, DR and such???

I am going back through reading, but thought i would ask as well.

thanks.

I started to but never finished it... someone will get to it eventually if not me.

Please note I've tried every angle, every combination you can think of and I chose this angle as it was easiest to capture a gif

Yes this is the same problem im having, and i dont want to download another mod just to fix it.

It really is an issue, Im sure helldiver doesn't want to start directing everyone to a different mod just to "fix" his mod. Short of this one little problem which i've read he is going to remedy, In my eyes this mod is perfect.

Not to mention some of us can't find this editor extension mod. I'm obviously blind...

There is an unofficial patch somewhere around here...

Here's the patch I made: http://cl.ly/code/2o2U2i2b1v2M It does make everything work with FAR, and be sure to set up the flaps as such.

RE: Surface attaching anything in the bay. That's a generic problem with any cargo bays. B9 has the same issue, CSS has the same issue. It's the way KSP works. Your best bet, if you don't want to get Editor Extensions (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/38768-0-23-Editor-Extensions-v0-6-5-Aug-(EdTools-Editor-Tools-replacement)), generally you need to build everything separately down to the docking node, and then surface attach to the bay. Trying to hit the node inside the bay is like finding a needle in 6 haystacks.

KSO Phase II will provide docking rings specifically designed to solved that.

Great mod, i am having a blast with it. One suggestion though for a future update, could you include a large decoupler that fits the cargo bay? The 2.5m TR-XL Stack Separator clips the cargo bay but has the ideal length for placing cargo but it is also way to powerful when decoupling. I know i could use (and i have used) the TR-2V Stack Decoupler or the TR-2C Stack Separator since they have the same length as the 2.5m decoupler but it just doesn't look that nice when attached to a cargo, a decoupler with a the proper diameter that fits the cargo bay exactly would be nice.

Hrm, didn't think people would use a decoupler since they tend to shoot things out of the cargo bay rather than simply releasing them gently.

Will run it by Nazari first. But otherwise I'll include that in since I'm putting together the docking rings today.

Why would you not use EE? It adds a whole dimension of VAB/SPH functionality for advanced players and has no drawbacks that I've found after months of using it. IMO it's one of those mods that ought to be part of the base game, like Alarm Clock.

Any chance romfarer will help make a robotic arm that can get inserted into the cargo bay?

You can use the default Romfarer Buran arm and just scale the model to fit. I changed the scale to about 0.45 and it fits nicely.
