Cant purchase next node in tech tree?

I purchases a tech tree node and when u do u can scroll over the next node and u can see the next available items but its grey wont show me the items and wont allow me to purchase anyone know why?

The node you're trying to buy has 2 prerequisite techs. You have to unlock both of them before the higher level tech becomes available. Unfortunately the tech tree doesn't explicitly show you what the other prerequisite tech is, but you can usually guess by the relative positions of the techs.

http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tech_tree - I figured that might be helpful. Just look for the matching symbol and it'll tell you what the prerequisites are.

You can create those ribbons at http://ribbons.cgagnier.ca and add them manually to your signature.

Click settings in the top right corner, then edit signature in the left column. (Please note you can not edit an avatar or signature until you've made a certain amount of forum posts. If I'm not mistaking you'll need five.)
