That's right... SKYNET!!!

But on a serious note, do you think that robots should be able to decide when to kill? Please discuss your opinions here.

Wait so the plane litterally became self aware?? How!?!?!?!?! I thought that wouldn't happen for like fifty years or more

Did someone ask him what Minmus is made of? Or teach him to play ksp?

I see a plane sitting at a computer playing ksp yelling "SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCEEEEEE!!!!!!!!"

It's just a joke, we're decades away from creating any form of Self aware AI.

“It wasn’t the first time we’ve had to put one down,†he continued. “We even named the first one ‘Billy.’ We hoped that having an advanced, self-aware electronics component in the F-35 might give it some kind of edge, with maneuvering and target-tracking and whatnot. But that one just didn’t have any fight in it. We had to keep it on a tether after it snuck off one day. We found it three hours later, just hovering in a meadow in Fairfax, Virginia, watching bees pollinate flowers. Damned thing wanted to be a bee, too.â€Â

Made me laugh, poor Billy. :P
