BeamNG.drive: The future is here!

I am totally in awe. This needs no further explanation other than the fact that I want this in the next GTA.

Whether or not you followed the link before reading this, BeamNG.drive is simply the BEST driving simulator I've ever seen. I need to spread the word about this!

It uses full soft-body physics at all times, so you can get ultra-realistic crashes and other cool effects. Just watch the video if you haven't already. Oh, and the best thing about it?

The alpha costs $15 US.

Next car game is very dumbed down in the actual race modes, and the cars are way too reinforced. Also, I don't think this will be in GTA for the next ten years, as your console or average computer will not be able to handle the game ALONGSIDE soft body vehicle physics.

Driving simulator, no. Physics simulator, yes. It does pretty damn good at the crashing and smashing and bashing, but the driving model is like driving on ice. Even with a wheel.

Yes, but it will be a good driving simulator, there is a dedicated update coming out soon that will improve friction and the driving model.

Plus, GTA and star citizen are completely different games.

I should make a Beamng action movie sometime, but my computer is weak. As you can see, shadow is off and shader is on low, but at least the frame rate is very good.
