I would like to see another "biome" added in the Sun sphere of influence that's something like "Very High Above the Sun" that only starts out well past Eeloo (or the last planet if/when more are added). That way you can get science credit for a Voyager type solar escape mission.

Adding more solar biomes is a great idea. Another potential solar biome could be those sunspots that are now visible, or temporarily in the form of CMEs.

Yeah I've been waiting patiently to see them finish the sun. Makes me wanna build a shield ship like the movie "sunshine"

The sun also needs an atmosphere. It would be superheated like Moho's used to be, and you could not go very deep before overheating got you. This would provide another biome, and if you have sufficient heat radiation, you could get down very low for HUGE science boosts. If they implement Painting The Map, then mapping the sun should get huge boosts.
