Better lamps, navigation lights

I don't know if this has been suggested before; if so, I couldn't find the thread.

I find both Illuminator Mk1 and Mk2 way too big and cumbersome, so I was wondering if there is any chance of getting smaller, sleeker versions in future updates. I'd also like some way to rotate lamps during missions ( Illuminator Mk1 would be perfect as a searchlight). Finally I'd really love to see some navigation lights: not only they would look cool on spaceplanes, but they would also be quite useful during precision-requiring docking procedures and orbital construction.

Great suggestion. I also find the stock illuminators to be to big. I really like to add LED-lights and nav lights to both rockets and spaceplanes. Makes it much easier to see when it is orbiting on the dark side of a planet/moon.

Also, if they could make it possible to adjust or give steering to the illuminators, that would be great. Imagine your Mün base where one part is landing next to the other. It would be great to aim the light where you need it.

Yes, and for some time they where the biggest reason for me to download B9.

Now I drop B9 - to many parts making loading long and memory low.

I have mentioned a similar post before, i also agree with navigation lights. It would be awesome to see some flashing lights.

Hell, even include a big machine to create a lasershow in space. Ooh and add a smokegenerator as well then, for extra effect :-)
