What altitude do I start my turn altitude on ascent EVE profile

Recommended Posts

Hi

I got 9000DV and TWR between 1,6 and 1,8 to leave EVE. My lander is at 7500m, landed.

Due to high atom pressure i guess it's not a good idea to begin my turn as on Kerbin.

Those who successfully left EVE, what altitude did you begin your turn?

Thank's

From what I gather, 30,000m is the appropriate gravity turn altitude. 30,000m is approximately equivilant to 10,000m on Kerbin.

I have yet to do this myself, but I'm just about to do it at this time. I have a craft on Eve ready to lift off, and I've been doing research. This is the profile I will attempt, in any event. Verticle until about 30,000 and then start turning over.

Well 30 km is pretty good. I've 1425 Vac DV Left !!!

25Km leaves 1445 VAC DV, a little bit much better.

Until 25km with TWR between 1.6 and 1.9 you are always 10 to 15% below terminal velocity, which is rather good...
