Kerbal Spaceport issue.

I tried to email the admin listed on Kerbal Spaceport and got this bounce:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

[email protected]

(ultimately generated from [email protected])

SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email protected]>:

554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected:

user [email protected] does not exist

Looks like Rob's gone or something. Can you fix please?

I wanted to ask about hosting, as my downloads from here are really slow and often time out. Being a network engineer I can hopefully offer some suggestions.

Yeah, Rob no longer works at Squad. Thanks for flagging this issue and I will raise it with the powers which be.

NP... On the hosting side, it seems very slow. I'm quite familiar with hosting solutions and virtualised solutions for file sharing globally.

...outsider chiming in here: I don't think that the E-mail address [email protected] was listed anywhere (before this thread, of course).

I believe the E-mail address [email protected] FORWARDS to [email protected] (as well as other places). When Rob left, his E-mail was disabled, but this forwarder was not updated.

So, in my mind, the fix is to edit the forwards for [email protected] & remove the forward to rob. No more forwarding to rob, no more bouncing.
