The Skipping Challenge

The challenge is to have a Kerbal on a seat, skipping across the atmosphere, as in this Channel 4 advert;

. There are a few different categories;

RULES

You must attain as many skips with your ship. (NOTE: As soon as you attain orbit, your go ends). Please post a shot of your ship on the Launchpad, or in Orbit (depending on what category). Also post a shot of your ship (with mission time) before, in the middle, and after the attempt. Please be honest. The Kerbal(s) have to be in an external chair.

HOW TO SKIP

A skip is when your ship gets a re-entry effect, and rises above it. You can use wings and engines to skip. NOTE: You may not go above 100m of the upper atmosphere of your selected planet.

MODS

You may use Mods (such as MechJeb) to attain orbit, and part mods (KW, NP, B9, ect.), but post them in your post. OP stock engines are NOT allowed. Cheats (apart from part clipping) are not allowed. You can use Hyperedit, but you will get a 20 point reduction

POINTS

You get a point for each skip you achieve. You score bonus points if you make a replica rocket, or if you have more than 1 Kerbal on it. You get more points if you do it on a planet further away from you.

POINT LIST:

1 Point per 5 seconds of skipping, +

KERBIN SKIPPING = 10 POINTS

EVE SKIPPING = 20 POINTS

DUNA SKIPPING = 25 POINTS

JOOL SKIPPING = 35 POINTS

LAYTHE SKIPPING = 40 POINTS

KERBAL MULTIPLIER; Multiply score by amount of Kerbals in Chairs.

FULL STOCK = 10 EXTRA POINTS

DESIGN: The more interesting, complicated or 'Kerbal' the design, the more points you get.

HYPEREDIT; Hyperediting your vessel into orbit will loose you 20 points.
