Robocop (2014)

Has anyone else seen the new Robocop? are you an old Robocop fan , did you like it etc etc?

I don't want to give spoilers away, so I won't say too much other than, as the most hardcore Robocop fan I know I was left feeling so empty I wanted to tear the screen into shreds.

Sure, I am biased. I went into a movie that was a remake of one of my most treasured movies knowing they would screw it up, and boy did they do a great job of that. So yeah, until more people have seen it I won't give too much of the plot away, but if you are going to see it, just be prepared. Don't be fooled by the opening credits and music, it gets you pumped up but then falls very flat.

So, anyone else as disappointed as I am?

i only found out a week ago that they remade the damn thing. i used to watch the tv series, and ive seen all the movies. needless to say i dont expect much from the remake.

It is exceedingly rare for a remake to equal, let alone exceed, the original. I honestly don't know why they bother.

Oh wait, it's because of the pile of money they make, right.
