How is the MK3 ship supposed to be?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to assemble the MK3 cockpit with the MK3 tanks etc from stock, but I don't know how the ship is supposed to look like.

So far I've managed to come up with this , but the engine housing looks very weird and out of alignment as you can see.

Any ideas?

You can use the radial points to make engine mounts instead.

Sorry I'm still new and I don't know what that means.

So far I've come up with this in order to align the engine housing the best I could.

Which wiggles a lot under stress and I think is less than ideal.

Use an adaptor at the back, and place you engine under the wings.

What adaptor you refer to ?

Post -edit: The mk3 to mk2? Looks overly ugly, I'm really suprised mk3 made it into stock when other parts that I consider more primal and look better from other mods aren't there.

Yeah, all the spaceplane parts are pretty outdated now. They used to look kinda alright, but then all the rocket parts got new textures, leaving these looking really weird.
