i've noticed the SAS is pretty much identical to the Advanced SAS. Perhaps some extra functionality can be added to the ASAS to earn it's "advanced" name? I'd suggest it could automatically make minor corrections to keep it aligned with the blue Manouver Prograde marker, so i don't have align it precisely (which i do manually).

or perhaps have it rotate your spacecraft to keep its orientation the same relative to prograde/ the surface of a celestial body

Yes, having it geo-locked would be desirable, particularly for satellites (keeping the scanner/antenna pointed towards kerbin's surface)

It's weight is 0.3 instead of reaction wheel's 0.2. I feel 100 kilogramms of advanced tech

But yes, idea is good. I thought about some basic flight computer, like that from RemoteTech2. To hold node prograge, kill rotation and other handy stuff

The devs don't want to add an autopilot because it would "take away the fun part". Although I agree with them to a certain extent, having a basic "point at..." autopilot would be nice. Just a stock version of Mechjeb's Smart-ASS, to be precise.

Well, piloting isn't fun, when you have to do a LOT of stuff over and over and over again. That's boring. I have my fun, when try to land my ships precisely on planets, or dock 'em together.
