    • Superhero style suits and heads - who doesn't want to play as Joker and Batkerbal???

Ok the release version of the Black GSI suit is nearly done and will be released in the next update along with Sippyfrogs awesome skybox visor reflection and a bunch of visor star reflections I've been working on including Blue, Coloured and White Star sets. Plus more suits in developement!

(Premises: 1. I didn't read all the comments, 'cause I'm in a hurry, so I don't know if I'm saying something already stated, but I wanted to trow in my two cents. 2. I haven't dowloaded this yet, so I have no idea how that hellish Universe Replacer works. Maybe what I'm going to say in feasible, maybe not, I'll leave the answer to future generations.)

Hi all!! First, those are some really sexy suits.

Second, I have a little suggestion. Maybe you can create specialities based suits, that follow all the same general pattern, but differs in the details.

Different suits for planes, space and surface crews, changing the amount of survival equipement and/or the helmet shape.

Crewmember spacialization, pilot (some maps and checklists on the suit arms), engineer (tools, a very kerbal toolbox), flight surgeon (a tricorder?) and so on.

A Penguin-style suit for station crews.

Different EVA suits, for deep space (the Gemini suit), surface exploration (the Apollo gear with the PPLS), and atmospheric bodies (a scuba dive suit?).

And finally, what would be, in my opinion, the most awesome thing ever created, and probably the most impossible to do, tech tier dependant suits. I mean, you have to admit that a Vostok flight suit was, let's say, more prone to spontaneous decompression than a Sokol. It would be cool if suits followed the technologic developement of the space program. I suck at modding, but the Realism mod has a feature that detect the tech level to adjust the engine stats, so maybe there is a routine for that. Bat again, I'm an idiot at modding, so I'll seat in the corner and I'll leave you cool guys work.

First TextureReplacer is simple to use and comes with instructions written by me and it's developer Shaw.

Second currently I am unable to change the shape of the character model so the shape of the suits and helmets has to stay as it is for the time being.

I can however do different textures to resemble different suits. I will be doing some Pilot suits, IVA suits etc...

I would really love to change the size and shape of the EVA pack and if anyone knows how... I know this can be done.

I will say that random suit decompressions although amusing for some would really annoy others!

As for the tech-level suits, I think you misunderstood me: I didn't intended it to affect affidability (damn, I cry enough for unplanned spontaneous disassemblies) but I was referring to the mere aestethical aspect, progressing from a simple fabric made flight suit all the way to an higer technology advanced EVA suit. But again, having read the file, I admit that might be a little over the reach...

Sweet!:cool: I Might have to change the green to red cause it suits me better, but I like it!

After all the moaning / complaining about the stealth suits I thought I'd oblige with a similar version. You have to keep the GSI patch or the suit may randomly decompress!

You should do a "badass soldier/merc" set. For the people who do military KSP. Space suits with scratched metal, faded paint that used to signify alliances, etc. Kinda gritty, Starcraft II/Boba Fett theme. Sorry if this has already been suggested, I don't have a spontaneous burst of patience to let me go through 23 pages of text. Sorry.
