Here's my version of drop pods. Not as...utilitarian or useful as andrew123's is, but it does match the look a little closer.

Boba Fett slave one... I just realized that both of our sstos have something in common. My ssto barely has any aerodynamic surfaces but compensates with four engines instead of two while you made your ssto craft a vtol. I do wonder how I should make the sabre more space oriented. Should I make it unable to land and make a complete overhaul of the wings to make it more aerodynamic for atmospheric operation.

Yup on both counts. As my materials teacher used to say, "anything flies if you give it a big enough kick in the butt".

Rune. I think I also heard that later in a conversation about the MIG-25 (fastest cold war fighter by far).

I have a lot of planes to fill that description, but my favorite was the mig 31 replica. Not stock but very accurate.

I rather enjoy making the figurative flying brick. I actually made some supermaneuvrable fighters out of them before due to the liquid styrofoam atmosphere of the game... do you enjoy it?

Should I try recreating the banshee? The K drives that comrade jenkins helped created could easily provide the repulsor thrust. (Although sticking my slipspace drive on it could be dangerous... if you know what that is subtly referencing.)

I would like to see some more crafts. Being a mod craft does not exclude it.

As I said before, probably the only thing going for it right now is the fact that it looks like the pods. It's pretty darn uncontrollable when plummeting to the ground. Since it's so heavy and all.

In my first few days of playing KSP I felt compelled to replicate the Liberator from Blake's 7, sans DriveSphere.

She was, as you would imagine, a wibbly-wobbly mess - So hat's off to some of these designs as it's not enough to get the look, it has to be usable too!

From my skunkworks, I roll out to you my newest black project. The versatile sr-72.

It is extremely maneuverable, has a low stall speed, has almost 3000 units of liquid fuel, can be drone operated, has light landing gear with a unique structural design, has low observability features integrated, can communicate over four channels, and is hypersonic capable. SSTO conversion can also occur on demand.

Aesthetic changes have occurred since these photos. All aspects are now improved, and it is much more sleeker for stealth along with capability for mid air re fueling.
