Just some introspective thoughts.

I've played KSP for a few years, but I don't think I've ever completed an entire interplanetary mission without making some small mistake, but I think I'm very close.

I also like to play Go. I have not yet played a whole game without making some kind of mistake, but it feels like I'm very close.

In life, I make a lot of mistakes too, but I think any day now I will go to sleep and think did I make a single mistake today? and the answer will be no.

I wonder if I am actually gaining aptitude and dicipline, or whether it is my perception of failure and success that changes.

As long as to do not make any game/life-breaking mistakes you shouldnt put so much pressure onto yourself.

Like most things in this world your pursuit of perfection has to be seen as a journey and less like a goal.
