Yep, you read the title, it's Tank Wars!

However, before we start discussing the interesting stuff, here are some requirements for the minigame to work:

  • Kerbal Space Program (duh!)
  • Kerbal Mulitplayer Program
  • Friends

Ok, finally we can start.

The minigame is just some interesting idea I thought of while I was just building the tank for this game.

This is the tank:

Yep.

The main features of the tank are:

  • 8 Medium Damage Missiles.
  • Abort System.
  • Anti-Roll System (Outer Landing Gear).
  • Medium Armor.
  • 6 TR-2L Ruggedized Vehicular Wheels.

How to use this tank:

  • To fire missiles, press staging key.
  • To abort, press 'Abort', then press the 0 key.

Rules:

  1. You must destroy your opponent's tank. You don't have to destroy the command pod, but make the tank immobile.
  2. If you abort from the tank and land safely, the opponent gets 1 point. But if you can't open the parachute and the command pod explodes, the opponent gets 2 points
  3. If your command pod gets destroyed before you abort, the opponent gets 2 points.
  4. You must stay inside the area of the Space Center (the part that is elevated from the ground).
  5. You may not edit the tank, but if you want to make your own that is fine.

Okay, this is what I have to say:

1) How do you plan on having the KMP battle? You can't do it at the spacecentre due to a safeguard KMP put into place.

2) Do you have a Client or a Host set up? You cant do something like this over LAN unless you are doing it with someone on the same Wi-Fi/Cable Network as you.

3) Mods? What is supported, what isn't? Does Kerbpaint work?

4) Did you know that the Gentlemen's Naval Battle Club thread has ground based battles such as this one? (They are however, turn based.)
