The only time I got to the Mun was by building something as tall as a level 3.4 Flagship, by KSP RP standards, put 3 Large Bertha engines on it, point towards the Mun, and prayed. Then, I made it. Attached below is images of a replica.Oh god dude, all those fins...I understand your want for control, but putting that many fins so close together creates drag...If you halved those fins you would get better speeds with a TINY loss of control.
