with a 50 part limit, i'm going to lose a lot of soundness of the whole section, I wanted it to be the 2 large orange tanks the rcs and the Xenon tanks. The Xenon and Rcs do take up a rather large part count due to how little a part holds. I'll fiddle with it some more and see what i can do. What is the most you will bend to allow in maybe 75ish?

If you keep working on it you should be able toget thepart count down to around 50. Keep in mind that it doesn't have to be exactly the same ship you planned t launch.

Its not that I don't mind the 50 part count and I know others are working on this and total part count maters for everyone. As I am worried that it is getting higher up there in the part count by the time it get s to me I might have troubles with it just loading...

I'll fiddle around with it and see what I can come up with, I might need to step back and rethink my design. Maybe drop the Xenon tanks completely and just use fuel, oxidizer and monopropellent.

I agree about Xenon tanks. At the moment, ion engines are very under powered.

ok I got a refueling section that is right at 50 parts, I removed all the Xenon tanks, and the extra crap that made it look nice and redid the RCS tanks. it now holds

2250 Monopropillent

6420 Fuel

7480 Oxidizer

8000 Power

2 Sr docking ports for station connections

2 Docking ports for ships/station connections

2 Jr Docking ports for probe and other smaller vessels

yep i even remade a similar model of your truss to test it out with, thou I had a hard time learning how you put it together like that.

Well, guess what? I found a rocket, and it's even better that I built it myself! With design from a video by HOCGaming....it's his SLS. But it lifts off, and I just need to test getting it into orbit.
