(I dont say they are bad, i just want the best. & if they are the best, well yay ) Edited March 19, 2014 by JtPB
Javster
I'm not sure exactly what you want.
Red Iron Crown
Better in what way?Do you want more flexible scripting? kOS is a scriptable autopilot.More data? Kerbal Engineer Redux gives some info that MechJeb doesn't.

The Ideal Gas Lawyer
I heard that mechjeb's autopilot is kinda ****y. yea what i want to know is what features they have different from mechjeb...I've never found MJ to be anything but great so long as you do your part (eg. make sure the engines are antiparallel with your control vector)

Amaroq
For "Best Utility Mod", removing "Control" from the equation, I would recommend Kerbal Engineer Redux and Kerbal Alarm Clock. The former for the display readouts (though MechJeb and VOID are also contenders for engineering output), and the latter as a critical element as soon as you have two or more long-distance (interplanetary) missions going. For "Best Physics Mod", I'd suggest Ferram Aerospace Research, which replaces the (poor) stock aerodynamic model with a much more realistic one. You get less resistance-from-drag, which makes things easier, but you get stall and radial drag forces which sharply penalize poor design or poor piloting. For "Best Structural Parts Mod", I'd suggest Kerbal Joint Reinforcement (gives you less wobbly rockets).
Red Iron Crown
Some people think they're better pilots than mechjeb, maybe they really are, but I certainly am not. The only ships I've built that MechJeb can't handle are so unbalanced in some way that I have a hard time believing they're controllable at all. If you want an autopilot, I think MechJeb is the best choice. Use as much or as little of its functionality as you like and have fun.
JtPB
Please, enlight me on the problems you had with MJ.currently, nothing. just a lot of info which is have to be choosen as relevant for current window situation. with the realativly complicated interface, but ill get used to it over the time...For "Best Utility Mod", removing "Control" from the equation, I would recommend Kerbal Engineer Redux and Kerbal Alarm Clock.
