No, I have this complex system that ships antimatter from my collection station in low-Jool orbit to the runway where it is loaded onto the tank in my spaceplane using KAS pipe connectors.

Go for it, can't wait to see what one of these Interstellar planes can do.

Same here. Antimatter's cool once you have it, but getting it requires quite a bit of work if you're not willing to quick-edit your tanks (aka cheat).

Yeah that's why I don't think it overpowers the challenge to allow it, if people have gone through all the work of setting up an antimatter collection system they might as well be able to use it for something. And getting off of Eve seems like something it would be the perfect fuel for.

I have...but forgot to take pics and then got sidetracked. KSP's funny, whenever you work on something you end up getting distracted by yet another cool plan. I set up a whole antimatter microwave station around Jool this past weekend. Soooooo much power, even all the way back to Kerbin and Eve. Won't be using that for this though, would make it too easy (even if setting everything up took a very very long time).

I'll redo the entire challenge and will take pics this time. Just need to find a quiet few hours to do so (aka GF-free time). Can't risk another "are you playing with those tiny green dwarfs again?" comment

If you spend enough time playing KSP your GF problem will resolve itself... It will however leave you with some other problems

There are things KSP can't replace...yet. Maybe Kerbal **** will solve that issue eventually.

I will most likely give this a try either tonight or tomorrow. I got a 20 ton SSTO that uses interstellar and B9 (with FAR) that I think can do the trick.

What if you have mods such as TAC LS and RT? Those make the game more difficult by requiring you to carry more mass down to the surface and back.

Trying this challenge with my SSTO spaceplane that uses Interstellar, KAS, KW Rocketry (I like the look of their monopropellant tanks) and probably held together by KJR.

looks like you could still fly, nothing "very" important seems to be broken.

EDIT:

reminds me of that time I landed my B9 super ssto on the mun. broke some parts off on the VTOL landing, like HMMM; 3 engines, 3 wing peaces, a canard(on of the big b9 ones) 2 of the VTOL engines, and most of the landing gear.......STILL GOT HER HOME and landed safely LIKE A BOSS

What if you have mods such as TAC LS and RT? Those make the game more difficult by requiring you to carry more mass down to the surface and back.

Yeah I added that rule just to keep people from using parts from 20 different mod packs and making it hard or impossible for other people to replicate their run. I should clarify that only mods used on your ship that help you complete the challenge will be counted. If you've got Kerbal alarm clock running in the background, well... who cares.

I considered making mods like DRE and TAC add to the score, but I think that's going to make things more complicated than it needs to be, but I will add a special award for people doing things the hard way.

Had to start from scratch as I lost my save files. A new prototype's on the way to Eve though with c. 14k deltav and Kethane refueling ability.

Thanks. Changed it slightly by adding another docking port above the Kethane reactor. I can now dock in front and carry cargo on top. In the pic below I'm carrying a roid grabber...

Definitely the most stable SSTO I've ever made, flies great.
