Attach a part to two others.. possible?

Recommended Posts

Suppose you have a part you want to attach to another part, for example this 1x1 structural panel.

as you can see it is attached to the panel on its left.

is there any way to attach it to the panel on it's right?

And i don't mean using a strut connector.Just for it to attach to both parts.

No. The game describes ships using a tree structure, with a particular part (the first one) as the root node of the tree. Each new part has exactly one parent (connected) part; no cycles can exist in the tree (struts and fuel lines connect to a second part, but it's not a "parent" connection).

When you disconnect a part from the rocket, that part and all its children (and all their children, and so on) are removed from the tree. When you remove a part and drag it over to create a new subassembly, the part you removed will be the root node of the subassembly and it'll be the only attachable node when you try to add the subassembly to something else (this is why it's important to carefully select which part will be the root part of a subassembly).
