More movement

When I look at my missions, they look like little 3D photographs. If I don`t touch them, they would stay like that forever.

I would like there to be more movement on screen even if it is purely cosmetic. I`d like rotating dishes, blinking lights and kerbals that wander within a 10m radius of where you leave them. Rovers that rove within 250m (all tweakable). I can understand if nobody wants the last two though, there are obvious issues.

What do you all think?

Rovers roving would be a terribly complicated thing to try to code -- imagine trying to code for all the insane creations some people will build.

Kerbals wandering about a bit could work, I guess... However, at least on bodies without an atmosphere, it makes more sense for everything to look still as a statue, really -- there'd be no wind to disturb things, so the only movement you'd get is either the kerbalnauts or the ship itself moving around. Also, you'd want to be conserving energy as much as possible since there's only a limited supply of, well, everything... (at least from a realism standpoint)

On bodies with atmospheres, it could get somewhat more lively as the winds pass by...

fair enough about the rovers but still, what about rotating antenna, blinking lights etc. A bit of life to a craft.

and you can search up "clouds and city lights" mod for cometic things on Kerbin...

But that's if you just want it there nothing official...

But some cosmetics would be nice, nothing gpu intensive though...

Aviation Lights is a mod that will give you running lights and flashing strobes in various colors.

Only for Kerbals, and it should be optional from their RMB menus. They should be more lifelike, instead of just grinning. I'd like that.
