This seems pretty jenky, so I decided to see if anyone knows or cares about it.

Some spam/advertising/junk site has copied posts from this forum word-for-word, and changed the author's names as if they were their own content. This seems very bad and illegal and whatnot.

Just sayin'.

Such an obvious SEO attempt. If they can repost stuff to make that forum look really active, they can use it for "link juice"...although I'm pretty sure Google changed they way they assess this.

The old techniques may no longer work, but that doesn't stop SEO scammers from selling them to suckers. I did find it via Google, but not on the keywords they were hoping, I'm sure.
