Asteroid Redirect official or not?

This thread will surely be locked. But the OP does express legitimate confusion and frustration with Squad's media policies.

What confusion? There's a video with someone talking to the damn devs about how they came across problems with programming it, hundreds of pages of info and pictures!?

Squad's media policy is brilliant.

Experimental bug fixing success --> media version films + bug fixing success --> release

There is confusion because people don't know whether it is official or not. The confusion exists. I said media policy because Squad is notorious for haphazard statements across various media. Casual customer's should not have to watch videos and search through twitch archives and wikis to figure out what is going on. Nor should they feel it necessary to ask here. On the homepage should be a statement: "This is the latest release and this is what's happening with the next", followed by an explanation of why some people appear to be make vids from a newer version. Look over at steam and you'll find many people confused about which is the "stable" release (.22) which is latest (.23) and wtf is this nasa "patch" on youtube. It's about clarity of message, not development cycles.

From the homepage announcement regarding ARM: "Keep your eyes here and our other community channels for more info on release dates and more." followed by embedded media team vids, some of which contain conflicting release data statements. -> confusion.
