Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't clear in stating the tonnage rules. :( if you want to re-move you can.

By the way, I'm now quite pleased with my hybrid-reactive armor plating design. :P

Also, your ships look quite good, and have a very sci-fi feel to 'em... Nice work!

It's fine, I should have asked and to be honest I'm at least confident in these ships more so than my other...research projects? Idk I don't finish many larger ships for some reason lol

And thank you for the compliment, I almost religiously watched every stargate series so I've seen a lot of scifi concepts that I can draw on :)

Battle Update

I sent my Salvation Class PGS Chain Breaker in to attack

Target: "Pickaxe"

Target locked

one shot

one kill

after words I sent in my damaged Faithful Class Corvette PGS Sword of the Spirit in to scuttle the wreckage so my opponent won't reclaim his missiles. After firing all the remaining missiles I sent Sword of the Spirit and PGS Chi-Rho on a sub orbital trajectory to crash into Moho. This was done because both were far to damaged to be any more useful in the fight. Sadly both of there captains had been KIA before the act due to enemy fire

I then sent the remaining ships into a high, retrograde orbit. The 3 Salvation class destroyers PGS Chainbreaker, Liberation, and Righteousness and the last remaining Faithful Class corvette PGS Shield of Faith are now awaiting to see what the enemy will do

It sure does feel good to use the Salvation Class again. Im a happy camper

My super heavy dropship will enter construction when I have time. Which is in over a month, unfortunately, due to my schedule.

It requires some stabilization along with performance enhancements. I must also get working on the Infinity along with its new escort ships, one of which is the Trafalgar class dreadnought vessel and its offshoot, the MacArthur class cruiser with an experimental propulsion system.

The Mechanicus did not influence the Trafalgar in any way... hehe... http://i.imgur.com/xkm9dAl.jpg

Damn, my next ship was going to be called Trafalgar. :P

I'm getting closer to finishing my new, better armoured and more part optimal series of battleships. Although it took me more time than I thought, I will be available for battle soon.

Also:

@ScriptKitt3h - I really like your idea of prizes

@BrightBritches - woah, those are some really pretty ships :D

Can anyone find a use for this?

I built her for fun but can't help but feel stupid for not giving it a purpose, someone please download this and give it something to do. Meanwhile, ill fly her around gracefully circling Kerbin City and trying to miss bridges.

If you really don't mind about part count you could just add another layer of armour, it paid off on the Temeraire.

Hey BrightBritches, I now know what happened to the A.D.A.!

ncYprQV.png

Your shot somehow missed one side of the hull, then de-phased into reality (hmm....) on the other side.

Thanks to my dual-layer armor, though, it did effectively NO DAMAGE. :)

On another note, you now have shot a Kerbpaint paint job off of a ship. :P Nice aim man.

I felt Bright *****es ring was too small and would be much cooler if it could fit cruisers.

Those are 2x2 panels by the way.

Anyone up for a small skirmish over the weekend?

2 things here

1: Why you gotta go and be rude like that? ;.;

2: If your not gonna use the standard size, then you have to go and make one out of smaller ships like they did in the show :P

I like that idea and I have Burn Together installed so they'd stay in place.
