Historically they did pretty terribly in ship to ship combat compared to aircraft carriers, submarines and u-boats, and groups of cruisers.Why doesn't anyone have a submarine?! The main problem is how much weight is required to sink the craft underwater due to ridiculous fractions of at least 10 tons for 1 ton on the craft itself.
