//!BATTLE UPDATE!//

So, I went after the parked U.S.C. fighter.... and managed to summon the kraken. (AKA, this is my move I made a while back, since I haven't had enough time to consider re-moving. :( )

Escort 2 Launching...

Burning to land near the fighter... (this took a bit of time)

Coming in hot!

FIRE AT WILL! :D

I then waited for dawn so I could effectively finish off the fighter, which was badly damaged and drifting...

When daytime came, this was the only thing I could find from the ship:

I think I may have managed to summon the Kraken, or perhaps I nicked a fuel tank that blew up overnight.

Regardless, I know for a fact that the U.C.S. has lost another fighter to my forces. (I seriously need to do an IA review of my pilots, though. I will not tolerate occult practices in my fleet! :P)

Persist:

Is it a VTOL?(I can't see underneath)

EDIT:The orbital engine is underneath, cool!

Actually, it's not VTOL, but can be an STOL-type fighter with a good pilot. The thing under the belly is a simple free-drop incendiary bomb, while the rockets are recessed slightly into the fuselage, on either side of the jet.

I might make a VTOL version, or a VTOL gunship/dropship as a counterpart, though, since my old "Kitt3h-class" shuttlecraft I made to submit for SSI a while back had VTOL and IP capability... but no missiles.

That's a nice SSTO, I might try making something with a similar purpose.

Thanks, they're wonderful for battles on kerbin and laythe (as well as duna, provided you have a powerful rocket engine onboard), but are also great for personal trips and cargo hauling (larger part-monster SSTOs, that is.).

I threw an SSTO together, with a similar design to ScriptKitt3h's. Here it is.

I'd reccommend using the smaller missiles my and Spartwo used on our SSTO fighters, since they save on weight and do enough damage for air-to-air (I wish this would work), and air-to-surface attacks, the main uses of an SSTO in KSP warfare. However, the design looks good. You tested its flight range?

I also just made an IP-trip capable SSTO heavy fighter/bomber.

It's called the Wolverine.

(Also, it has a new paint scheme I came up with for my more defensive-type aircraft and surface vehicles)

Boom! (Proving the power of free-drop explosives)

Coming back around to strafe the general area.

The Wolverine has 2 jets, 1 LV-N and is equipped by default with 2 RCS-tank HE bombs and 3 linked-fire aircraft missiles, but it might be upped to 4 or 5 if it works well.

Also, I almost stuck the landing. Almost.

Tarzan Space Company is proud to present its brand new, shiny battlecruiser. It's powered with 4 nervas, has 2 layers of armour around the main core and is armed with 3 SRBs and 24 I-beam torpedos, which can be fired all at once (yay!) or in 3 salvos (or even 12 if someone has a patience to set up stages/action groups). It has also 4 side AF missiles. Clocks at 519 parts (pushes my PC to the limits) and weighs almost 150 tons. What do you guys think? How should I name it?

Also, I have a question about the rules - is using mechjeb allowed?

P.S. - can someone download this CRAFT and tell me what is so wrong that it can be totally destroyed by one light hit? I like its "Winchester" weapon system and I don't want to lose this craft (I spend some time to build it) but for now it is crap

ENERGY SHIELDS ARE NOW POSSIBLE! THIS IS A BOON TO MILITARY SPENDING IN SPACE! http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/181773-physics-students-figure-out-how-to-make-star-wars-deflector-shields-in-real-life Maybe not completely flawless. I just hope we can make engines that can fire through plasma. Subspace thrusters could work. If they could even exist.

It is a fun game. Not too much cinema and not too much action.

I have a ps3 that I don't have time to use. I can't even boot it because I salvaged the hard drive but it has been cfw fwd one time.

I guess I need to make a tiny SSTO like everyone else.

They're not tiny, just... bite-sized. :P Also I just found out that the super-light missiles on my sstos do NO DAMAGE to anything.

They just hit and go boom. You guys have some better SSTO ammo?

The Vespid just uses standard I-beam missiles.

Anyone interested in a small battle (I'd prefer someone new, as me, but I'll battle anyone. Don't expect a lot of skill though)? Rules would be:

-Body: opponent's choice (but if it's not a problem, I'd prefer some smaller body - Gilly/Pol/Minmus/Bop)

-Special rules/rule exclusions: no leaving SOI

-Maximum number of craft: 5

-Maximum total mass: 250t

-Use of K-drive,yes/no: ?

I also want to say that it might take me a while to make a turn, becouse of my GMT and IRL matters (so the opponent will have such right too, of course). Also, is using mechjeb during a battle allowed?

And no billion parts monsters please!
