Scrollable Tweaks

Recommended Posts

Ehh... I can see that becoming a problem like it is with editing nodes in map view - I'm so used to scrolling being only used for pan up and down/zoom (VAB and map view respectively) that I don't want to accidentally leave my cursor over a node/tweakable, scroll and then get it back to how it was. Not to mention clicking is, I think, faster anyway - to empty a tank in the VAB/SPH, you could either scroll down, down, down, down and down or just click and drag it down. Doesn't seem like much of a benefit to be worth it, to be honest with you.

i actually like the scrollable nodes feature, i actually find i can get more precision there than would otherwise be possible. im all for it being optional though, as has been suggested elsewhere. my major issue with tweakables is that it likes to snap to the ends when you get close to them. if i wanted to set it an engine to 1% or 99% it would be impossible because it would snap to 0% or 100% respectively. scrolling means i could tick through every half percent or whatever and set it to a more precise value. clicking on it is a lot more like tuning an old am radio, you keep scanning trying to get as close to the value you want and never getting there.
