Drew Kerman
The "yellow" appearance is due to the light passing through the Earth's atmosphere.True, but we should also consider that a star's actual color is defined by its surface temperature. Our sun looks white in space because of how hot it is. Smaller, cooler stars will look more reddish and larger, hotter stars will look more blueish. Given that Kerbol is smaller than our sun it would be cooler and really should look more reddish rather than white.

But there's nothing to say that Kerbin's star wouldn't appear different.. It might actually be interesting to see it as a red dwarf. Could look pretty cool (no pun intended). Could look pretty cool (no pun intended).I had this in mind while thinking of creating the custom Solar Flare. I then settled down with my own horrid logic of "Everything in KSP is down scaled, so why not the science as well?" and just said that a red dwarf would need to be even smaller.I've also created a Kerbal Stuff link.Way better than Curse.http://beta.kerbalstuff.com/mod/29/Better_Atmospheres
natto62
Is there anywhere I can download Better Atmospheres V4? I tried the upgrade but I exceed the memory because of all my mods. I forgot to backup before upgrading so I don't have V4 anymore. A link would be much appreciated.

LvL
the clouds aren't BA. they're EVE. There isn't any shadows under the clouds and the clouds are in blocks, and not realistic. and look at my moon.Javascript is disabled. View full albumI'm sure that my minnmus and jool are both BA, but I'm not sure with the other planets. I installed BA by just putting everything in the download into my gamedata folder. I didn't replace anything, and I downloaded the low res. just if any of that matters

I think there are some bugs with shadows IIRC.

Storywalker4
The problem is I have no idea if the Assets are share-able.Yeah... that could be a problem... well that sucks... honestly, my computer was probably too stupid in the graphics card to be able it handle it. Seriously man, it sucks. I'm surprised I can play KSP even.

bignick277
I'm getting a really odd ghosting issue on my mod on Kerbin. It's as if the cloud cover is being painted twice and then offset. It doesn't do it at the main menu. It looks perfect in the main menu as it should. But as soon as I go in any game, whether saved or new, Kerbin's clouds look ghosted. Here's what it looks like at the main menu.Perfect.But here's what it looks like in game from my ship:Here's what it looks like from the map:And here's what it looks like in a new fresh game from space centerYou can clearly see the cloud ghosting in all instances except on the main menu where it looks perfect. Do you have any idea how to fix this so I can fix it in my game until the next update gets uploaded. BTW, All other planets as far as I can tell, all look as they should. Great mod though. It's one hell of an improvement over the stock planets. Any help you could provide in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
RogueMason
@bignick: You probably have another config file in the Clouds folder. Keep the Better Atmospheres config and get rid of any others that are there.
