The thread is now alive for 2 days. That's 1,5 days more than i expected.

Anyway, one more popped up while building my Laythe orbital base:

I missed the approach for one module, due to a skype call. While escaping laythe, i realized that i can circularize around Jool. The module is now part of my main Joolian space station.

A lander probe fell over on the Mun. Fortunately it was aiming uphill, and I was able to use the hill as a launch rail to get back to orbit.

Funnily enough, when one of my landers fell over I was able to take off after pointing it DOWNhill. I think that helped the pod torque lift the nose a little, which was enough to get off the ground and go to space.

More recently I had a 2-stage lander that I was able to right by first tipping it on its head, then pumping fuel to the descent stage tanks before flipping it.

heh. Jebkerboom you should read my "mishap on the mun..." signature link for probably the most genius recovery mission ever xD. My first mun landing did have a happy ending. A hectic, but happy ending .
