Toggle Asteroid Visibility in Mission Map

Recommended Posts

I am trying to stage a mission to Jool, but in the mission map, I can't figure out how to turn off the asteroid visibility. As a result, I have a bunch of white orbits clogging up my mission map. How do I turn off asteroid visibility?

Just to further clarify, this is not a question of how to turn off asteroids at the tracking station/observatory on Kerbin. This is a question about the map you pull up during a mission. Thanks!

It works similarly to how tracking station works. Move your mouse at the top of the game screen/window and a line of buttons will drop down, allowing you to select what you want and what you don't want to see.

This is a real pro tip. I never found that by "accident", so now I had a mission (I could not go back to Space Center because I wanted to retain the "Revert") and your Post saved me. Thanks, Carsten PS: Another pro tip I really like: The test component button which works outside the Staging

Another useful one: alt-f5 lets you name a quicksave. You could habitally make one called 'launchpad' before setting off, so that even when the game doesn't want to let you revert, you can alt-f9 and force it to :)

I had no idea this was available, thank you :)
