How would gravity be like?

So i was wondering about the center of the Earth (or any other planet). Imagine for one second the very center of the Earth (for example a 10m x 10m, empty dome) is habitable, it has a nice temperature and breathable air.

How would gravity be like in there? Would you be floating like in space since the "ground" around you pulls you equally?

Well, you'd be cooked in an instant from the heat,

But otherwise, since the entire planet is above you, unless the center of mass of your body was EXACTLY at the center of mass of the Earth, you would fall towards one of the sides of this "bubble" because you would be closer to one side of it then the other side, therefore you would feel slightly increased gravity from that side, and you would be pulled towards it.

If your were at exactly the center of mass, you would feel exactly the same gravity from all sides, thus being suspended in the air.

Though, it would be interesting seeing trees grow upside down... :)

So, basically, if the object is a perfect sphere (which the Earth is not, I know that) will gravity pull equally from all sides?

Say there is an enormous mountain (like the mountain next to the KSC) on said planet, would you be pulled a bit more to that side?

Yes. So you would have to activate display of CoM to find the sweet spot. (Two pop-culture references in one sentence, my work is done.)

Yup, completely correct!
