Can someone who goes on the techonce.net forum send the scammer "weliam" my regards?

I did a search of my KSP movie today and found this:

The user weliam copied my work and pasted it on his forum without asking, and not even with the thought to change its title. The real link is in my signature. This user also has an insane number of posts leading me to believe this user scams all the time. Could someone please send him my regards?

Argh... I hate people like this, trolls copying other people's work and claiming it as theirs, even when its SO OBVIOUS they didn't make it.

But one point just looks a bit off: You posted your Voyage - a KSP film here on the KSP forum on March 27 (and edited on April 23). He posted the EXACT same text on techonce.net on March 26. One day EARLIER???

Strangely I don't find any links or video on that page OP linked to.

If it was me, I'd invoke DMCA, it's what it's there for.

If you're feeling nice, contact him and allow him a short amount of time to take it down before you go the nasty route. If I went this route I'd probably want some kind of public apology though.

His age is irrelevant. Tracing his IP is unlikely to help you much, I doubt his ISP cares particularly what he uploads to youtube or wherever as long as he's not DOSing you or something like that.

For reference, this is not single users. The whole forum is scrapings from other forums, with changed names and post dates. The whole site needs a DMCA serving.
